This Privacy Policy explains how Turgor Labs (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit turgorlabs.com (the “Site”) or purchase and use our WordPress plugins.

  1. Information We Collect
  • Information you provide directly: your name, email address, and anything you submit through contact forms, support requests, or the newsletter signup on our Site.
  • Purchase information: checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your billing details — name, email, billing address, and payment method — directly; we do not receive or store your full card number. We do receive your name, email address, order and license details, and purchase amount from Lemon Squeezy so we can deliver your license and provide support.
  • Automatically collected information: like most websites, our Site may use cookies and similar technologies, and basic analytics such as pages visited, browser type, and approximate location, to help us understand how visitors use the Site.
  • Support communications: if you contact support, we keep the content of that communication to resolve your issue and improve our Products.
  1. How We Use Information

We use the information above to process and deliver your purchase and license; provide updates and customer support; respond to inquiries; send Product-related notices such as security or update announcements; send optional marketing emails about new plugins if you opt in, which you can unsubscribe from at any time; and improve the Site and our Products.

  1. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with:

  • Lemon Squeezy, to process payments and taxes and issue receipts;
  • Email service providers, to send transactional and, if you opted in, marketing emails;
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers, to operate the Site;
  • Professional advisors or authorities, where required by law.
  1. Cookies

Our Site may use cookies for essential functionality, such as remembering items in your cart before checkout, and, where enabled, analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Site functions.

  1. Data Retention

We retain purchase and license records for as long as necessary to provide updates and support during your Update Period, and afterward as needed for accounting, tax, and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete other personal data we hold about you, subject to Section 7.

  1. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@turgorlabs.com. If you are in the EU or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA.

  1. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  1. Children’s Privacy & Student Data

Our Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them through the Site directly.

Note on student data processed inside the plugins: the Student Dashboard and Exam Mode plugins process data about students — such as names, exam attempts, and scores — that is collected and controlled by the licensee (the school, coaching institute, or platform that installs the plugin on its own WordPress site), not by Turgor Labs. That licensee is the data controller for its own students’ information and is responsible for its own compliance (for example, obtaining any consents required from students, parents, or guardians). Turgor Labs does not have access to that student data, since it lives on the licensee’s own WordPress database.

  1. International Transfers

Information may be processed in countries other than your own, including by Lemon Squeezy and other service providers, which may apply different data protection laws than your country of residence.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
