1. Introduction
Welcome to Turgor Labs ("Turgor Labs," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of turgorlabs.com (the "Site") and your purchase and use of our WordPress plugins, including Exam Mode, Student Dashboard, and Quiz Import/Export (each a "Product," together the "Products"). By purchasing or using a Product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not purchase or use our Products.
2. Products and Pricing
● Each Product is sold as a one-time purchase under the license tier you select at checkout (for example, Single Plugin or All-Access Bundle). This is not a subscription — you will not be charged again automatically to keep using the version you purchased.
● Prices shown on the Site exclude applicable sales tax, VAT, or similar charges, which are calculated and collected at checkout by our payment processor.
● We may change prices for future purchases at any time. Changes do not affect purchases already completed.
3. Payment Processing — Lemon Squeezy
All purchases on the Site are processed by Lemon Squeezy, Inc. ("Lemon Squeezy"), which acts as the Merchant of Record for your transaction. This means Lemon Squeezy — not Turgor Labs — is the seller of record on your receipt and card or bank statement, and Lemon Squeezy is responsible for processing your payment, calculating and remitting applicable sales tax or VAT, and handling PCI-compliant storage of your payment details.We do not receive or store your full card or payment details. Lemon Squeezy shares your order and license information with us so we can deliver your Product and provide support.Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's own buyer terms, available at lemonsqueezy.com/buyer-terms.
4. License Grant
Upon successful payment, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the purchased Product on the number of production sites specified by your license tier (for example, one production site under a Single Plugin license, or unlimited sites under the All-Access Bundle).GPL notice: our Products are plugins for WordPress, which is licensed under the GNU General Public License ("GPL"). Consistent with WordPress's own licensing, the PHP code of our Products is distributed to you under the GPL (v2 or later). This means that, under the GPL, you are free to use, modify, and redistribute the plugin code itself. What your purchase pays for is not exclusive ownership of the code, but (a) convenient access to the packaged, ready-to-install Product, (b) updates and new versions for the period described in Section 5, and (c) access to our support services. Bundled third-party assets that are not our original work, such as some icon sets or fonts, may be licensed separately and are not covered by this GPL grant.You may not present our Products, documentation, branding, or support services as your own, resell access to our support or update channel on their own, or use our trademarks without our written permission.
5. Updates and Support
● Every purchase includes free updates and standard support for twenty-four (24) months from your purchase date (the "Update Period").
● During the Update Period you'll receive new versions, bug fixes, and compatibility updates — for example, for new LearnDash or WordPress releases — issued during that time, along with email support.
● There is no subscription and no automatic renewal charge. Once the Update Period ends, the version of the Product you have installed keeps working — it's yours to use indefinitely. We do not remotely disable or lock Products after the Update Period ends.
● Updates released after your Update Period has ended are not automatically included. You need to again renew license for updates
.● Support requests should be sent to support@turgorlabs.com. We aim to respond within two business hours during our support windows, but do not guarantee a specific response or resolution time beyond what is stated on the Site.
6. RefundsRefunds are handled under our Refund Policy at turgorlabs.com/refund-policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
● Use the Products for any unlawful purpose;
● Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Products;
● Use the Products to build a directly competing plugin marketplace without our permission;
● Misrepresent your affiliation with Turgor Labs; or
● Share your support or update access with sites beyond the number licensed.
8. Intellectual Property
Except for the GPL-licensed code described in Section 4, all trademarks, logos, product names, documentation text, and design assets associated with Turgor Labs and the Site remain our property or that of our licensors.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Products are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Products will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every theme, plugin, hosting environment, or future version of WordPress or LearnDash.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Turgor Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Products. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to a Product will not exceed the amount you paid for that Product.
11. Third-Party Services
Our Site and Products may reference or integrate with third-party services, including LearnDash, WordPress, Google Docs, and Lemon Squeezy. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of those third-party services, which are governed by their own terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Products after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of a buyer's own country of residence apply.
