Selling a test series is mostly about trust. Students are asked to pay before they know whether your questions are any good. The fix is to let them find out first.
Start with a free test
Give away one full-length mock with no signup, or with only an email. This is your best advertisement. Make sure it is one of your best, not a leftover.
What goes in the paid pack
A paid series is more than a stack of tests. Include:
- A set number of full mocks, released on a schedule
- Chapter or topic tests
- Solutions and explanations
- A results dashboard and rank
- Access for a fixed time, such as until the exam date
Choosing a price
- Look at what local institutes and online platforms charge for similar series. Do not guess.
- Price per test, then multiply, and check that the total looks sensible
- Offer a lower price for early buyers or for a bulk batch
- Do not discount constantly. It trains buyers to wait.
Packaging ideas
| Package | For whom |
|---|---|
| Single mock | Someone trying you out |
| 10-test series | Most students |
| Full-year pass | Serious aspirants |
| Batch licence | Schools and institutes |
Taking payment
Turgor Pro sells courses through WooCommerce (and Google Play Billing) and unlocks access automatically. If most of your buyers are in India, check which payment gateways your WooCommerce setup offers and whether prices show in ₹.
Build proof as you go
- Ask each buyer for a short review after their first test
- Publish topper results (with permission)
- Share a screenshot of a student’s progress graph
- Keep a simple page of real testimonials with names
Keep students coming back
Release tests on fixed dates and send a reminder the day before. Students who finish three tests are far more likely to renew.
Refunds
Offer a clear refund policy. A short, fair policy lowers the fear of buying more than it costs you.
Promote it where students are
WhatsApp and Telegram groups, YouTube solutions for a free test, and local coaching networks usually work better than ads for a new brand.
